75 Years Breeding Registered Angus Cattle!
In
1988, Mountain View Farms Ltd. celebrated 100 years under the management
of the 5th generation of Andersons. Scott & Orycia Anderson, along
with sons Aaron & Mark own and operate this Canadian family farm.
We continue on a tradition of breeding registered Black Angus cattle
since our first purebred female was purchased in 1933. Since that
time, the Angus cow has been the foundation of our program.
Each year we offer Black Angus bulls for sale at two bull sale events: the Cattleman's Connection Bull Sale every March in Brandon, and the Mountain View Farms Annual Spring Bull Sale each April in Virden. Please join us to find your next Black Angus herd
bull with value-added genetics and first-rate customer service.
We are committed to raising sound traveling, good haired, large
testicled beef bulls that produce strong maternal, growth and carcass
traits in their offspring.
Mountain View travels to exhibit our Angus cattle at select livestock events each year. Look for us at Canadian Western
Agribition
(Regina, Saskatchewan), the Manitoba Livestock Expo in Brandon,
and Farmfair International (Edmonton, Alberta), and at the World Angus Forum hosted by Canada in 2009. |
